Rodi Studio is a design practice focused on subverting traditional fabrication methods and applying a sculptural approach to material and form. We aim to create interior pieces which capture the essence of play and the beauty of the odd. 

Rodi Studio’s first chair collection is inspired by the notion of idle play. Utilising plastic straws as building blocks, bending and interlocking to create maquettes of stools and chairs. We then scaled the stools and translated the material to aluminium tubes which are angled and bent with customized tooling. Coloured brightly and irregularly bent, the chairs bring a joyful energy into any space.

Rodi Studio is founded by RCA graduate David Pringle.
